It is a combination of abdominal discomfort or pain&trouble with bowel habits either going frequently or less often than normal or having a different consistency of stool (Hard, soft, liquid or mucous). Most people can control the symptom1s with diet, stress management&medicines. Researchers have reported that IBS may be caused by a bacterial infection in the intestines.   • Have small meals at a time
  • Reduce stress
  • Drink lukewarm water daily
  • Avoid intake of caffeine, alcohol&carbonated drinks
  • Limit intake of fatty foods, dairy foods.
  • Stop smoking.
  • Don’t skip meals.
  • Avoid daytime sleeping.
Home Remedies
  • Have half tsf of dry ginger powder mixed with half tsf of cumin powder daily after food intake.
  • Have freshly prepared buttermilk daily (Only day time)
  • If possible have only moong dal khichdi for dinner with one tsf of ghee.
